Each Liberty Camp is a joint venture between LLI and a local partner. This individual (or team) is usually affiliated with a local NGO or student organization that works to promote classical liberal ideas. For the camp, the local partner's primary tasks are

• Select and book a suitable location
• Devise a project plan and budget
• Find some funding from local sponsors
• Market the camp to students and help them with any travel or visa issues
• Promote the camp to local media
