The 2008 Liberty English Camps

Join us!

This year, we will again hold our successful and popular annual camp in Slovakia. In addition, we are opening new camps in Ghana, Poland, and Slovenia. We also cooperate with sister camps operating in Azerbaijan, Lithuania, and the Rep. of Georgia, supplying teachers and course material.

You can participate in many ways -- register as a student, sponsor other students, lead discussion groups and workshops, or just stop by and visit for a few hours, or a few days!

We are now accepting student registrations for all four camps. To register, choose the camp from the buttons on the left, then use the "Register" link. For other questions or comments, please use our contact page.

Together, we will explore ways of applying classical liberal principles to real-life projects such as starting a business, or publishing books and articles in English. Students will also enjoy meeting and forming new networks with their peers in nearby countries.

...are mostly university or post-graduate level; a few are in high school; some are older and attend the camp to continue their education, often bringing young children to combine family vacation with exposure to English. Read more...

Our Teachers...

...are all volunteers looking to spend a vacation doing something interesting and meaningful. They get an exposure to the people and cultures of developing countries that no travel agency could provide. The intense, informal atmosphere and camaraderie of the camp always foster new friendships, and many teachers and students return year after year.

...range in age from their twenties to their eighties. Our oldest teacher, who has attended most of our camps, describes the experience as "The happiest time of my life." Read more...
