| The second annual Liberty English Camp in Slovakia was held 21-27 June 2008 in a resort area near the Low Fatras, a scenic mountain range near the border of these three countries. Our venue was the Hotel Piatrová, located just outside the town of Vrútky, a short distance east of Žilina, in a beautiful wooded valley, which is popular in winter as a ski resort, and in summer as an ideal destination for hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. |
Our local partners really make it all happen. They provide vital assistance by organizing the accommodations and finding students. For this camp, our primary partner again was
- INESS, a Slovak think tank that aims to increase public awareness of free market principles and the effect of government action on the market.
