The first Liberty English Camp for Slovakia and Poland was held 24-29 June 2007 in a resort area near the High Tatras, a spectacular mountain range on the Slovak - Polish border. Our primary venue was the Hotel AVENA PLUS, located just outside the town of Liptovský Ján, near Liptovský Mikuláš, in a beautiful wooded valley in the Low Tatras.

Our local partners provide vital assistance with logistics and organizing students. For this camp, our primary partners were
- INESS, a Slovak think tank that aims to increase public awareness of free market principles and the effect of government action on the market.

KoLiber, a Polish association of young students and business people dedicated to promoting classical liberal ideas and values.
