Regina Ruibiene
For several years, Regina has been the primary local organizer for the camp in Lithuania. Her tireless efforts have been indispensible in making the camp run smoothly.
Regina is a professional educator at the Lithuanian College of Democracy, and the Social Communication Institute of the Vilnius Pedagogical University.

Giedre Kvieskiene
Giedre, a professional educator, has been very active for many years with both the
Vilnius Pedagogical University, where she is the Director of the Social Communication Institute, and the
Lithuanian College of Democracy.
Her extensive experience and network will once again provide important support to the English camp. Through Giedre's and Regina's efforts, we have received valuable assistance from the Lithuanian Ministry of Education and Science.

Egle Kvieskaite, Chief
Egle works and studies with Regina and Giedre at the Lithuanian College of Democracy. She joined the English camp last year, taking over organizational duties from Regina. Egle handles all the arrangements with the local staff, such as the cooks, housekeepers, and security people. She also find us supplies and equipment such as projectors, printers, and microphones for the daily classes and the evening activities. In addition, she somehow finds time to drive staff and visitors from the airport and camp location.

Virgis Daukas
Virgis is responsible for working with the local organizers to plan the details of the camp, including logistics, finances, guest speakers, selection and registration of students from Lithuania, and being the liaison to other local groups that offer us support, such as the Vilnius Pedagogical University, the Lithuanian College of Democracy, the Lithuanian Free Market Institute, and the International Republican Institute.

Glenn Cripe
Glenn has lived and worked (software development, consulting, and training) in over 10 cities in the U.S. and overseas, including Chicago, Dallas, New Orleans, Richmond, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Padova, and Sydney. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, where he registered LLI in May of 2005 as a non-profit corporation.
During the months between the camps, Glenn works to find teachers and funding, expand our network, and publicize the camps, by attending and speaking at conferences and seminars around the world. Glenn's special contribution is his knowledge of computer systems, web site work, and development of training programs. During the camp, Glenn will assist the other teachers as needed, making sure that classes run smoothly and reviewing each day's results in a brief staff meeting.
When he is not planning interesting training programs in faraway places, Glenn enjoys playing classical music and show tunes on the piano, especially when he can accompany singers and other instrumentalists.
A special adventure for Glenn was helping to translate and publish the works of Ayn Rand in Russian, and to track down the places where she lived. Click here to see photos of the books and the locations.

Andy Eyschen
Andy has worked with Glenn this past year to find teachers and funding, expand our network, and publicize the camp, by attending and speaking at conferences and seminars around the world. Andy's special contribution is his broad experience with management consulting, organizational development, and training programs.
During the camp, Andy will teach classes about entrepreneurship and privacy.

Sunni Maravillosa
Sunni is a psychologist and longtime freedom activist and writer. She co-founded the
Liberty Round Table, published and wrote for the online 'zine Doing Freedom!, and contributed to the book
National Identification Systems: Essays in Opposition.
Current projects include
- publishing Sunni's Salon, a bimonthly 'zine devoted to pro-freedom culture
- starting a small sweets business
- enjoying raising her two children to value liberty
Sunni is excited to be joining us at this year's camp, and is already trying to polish her very rusty Russian skills.

Stephen Cobb
After earning his master's degree in electrical engineering in 1990, Steve left his native southern California to pursue further study for a year in St. Petersburg, Russia. He stayed on in Russia for eight years, working primarily on arms-control projects. Steve currently resides in Moscow. He has also worked for six years in Germany in the training industry.
Steve became interested in the philosophy of liberty after experiencing personally the effects of socialism in Russia, Germany, and Lithuania. He is one of the founders of the Free State Project, currently serving as its vice president and technology director. In accordance with the FSP's motto "Liberty in Our Lifetime," Steve is keen on results-oriented activism.
Steve's other interests include Virtual Movements, Esperanto, and Ultimate Frisbee.

Jaroslav Romanchuk
In addition to teaching at the English camp for several years, Jaroslav has been the primary organizer of the students from Belarus and Ukraine. During the year, he meets with them, invites them to discussion groups, invites some to the camp, arranges transportation to Vilnius, and brings them all to the camp. In his classes, he delights in exploring the humor, ambiguity, and richness of the English language by sharing stories full of puns, misspellings, homonyms, palindromes, and other word plays with students and teachers alike.

Walter Smith
Born in the US and now living in South Carolina, Walter has also lived in Germany and pre-Communist Cuba. He served seven years in the US Army during the Vietnam war, primarily with the "Green Beret" special forces. After his military service, Walter attended medical school. He now practices family medicine and has earned licenses in four US states.
Walter has been an active member and participant for many years in both the US Libertarian Party and the International Society for Individual Liberty.
Areas of special interest to Walter include the biochemistry of romance, love and lust; the history of the English language; the prospects for extending the human lifespan; and reducing government interference in one's life to increase freedom.
